Hi All,

Currumbin’s Dragonboat Regatta is on Saturday 15th September.

First race is at 8 a.m.

Expected finish for the Sports races is 12-30 p.m. to be followed by an afternoon of Corporate races.

Everyone is to be there on Currumbin Creek, east of the RSL Club, NO LATER THAN 7-15A.M.

Everyone is welcome, including all the “newbies” as this is great fun, and a great learning experience.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP IF YOU ARE ABLE/UNABLE TO ATTEND THIS REGATTA.

Cost will be $10 for the day’s racing.

Hi All,

Finally have found out date for State Dragonboat titles next March.

At Caloundra on Sunday 9th March.

My thoughts already for this are to sleep in own bed on Saturday night, get a good night’s sleep, then all meet early and travel by bus to Caloundra.

Janine is looking for a later start so we can travel up on the day.

If you want to travel up Saturday night and stay in a motel, that is up to you.

Think about it, and let me know your thoughts. If I need to book accommodation, that can be done as a group if enough are looking to travel on Saturday.
